VIPER

At a point in time throughout history, mankind had become aware of the supernatural phenomena that lies hidden beneath society’s surface; far longer than the government had ever let known. Within this span of time, was the discovery of a black-magic level act of fundamental fuckery; timeline alteration. They had learned that by fixing or changing timelines, they could increase the benefits within their own timeline - however, in pursuit of perfection, they caused a collapse of all affected timelines; now referred to as “The shatter”.

Following a recovery of their timeline and a few others they could manage to save, they created a team of special operatives to prevent the shatter from ever occurring again; hoping in and out of timelines to ensure a stable balance is met at all times. This group - affectionately, is known as “The NEW World Initiative”.

PROJECT VIPER - a former government born symbiote turned villainous, has since been captured and now works for The NWI. Made of A combination of galactic fungi, superhuman cancer cells, and hyper-intelligence, Viper is a sentient disease; infecting anything they touch, living or otherwise.

In times of great importance to the NWI, Project Viper is released from their maximum security holding cell to perform extremely dangerous tasks or execution missions; specifically the latter.

PROJECT VIPER is no different than other known symbiotes. They possess power bestowal, granting their hosts the power of “disease”. Additionally, they are capable of superhuman biological manipulation and augmentation, manipulating and increasing the properties of every biological structure of their host’s body and any extension of their body. Through this, they can shape or form any part of their body into anything they can think of; even conjuring items from bits of their flesh.

Any host taken over by the symbiote essentially perishes; Viper now using their organs and lifeforce as a constant supply of nutrition. At this time, the body no longer hungers, tires, feels fatigue, breathes, or even feels pain. This allows viper to operate at maximum efficiency; often disregarding the physical status of their host due to being capable of naturally repairing it.

Viper’s body radiates “disease”. a combination of fluoroantimonic acid and boltulinum toxin lines their flesh, and airborne combination of the marburg and zaire ebola virus is breathed passively through the body.

PROJECT VIPER often cycles through three or four hosts of similar stature and appearance. When one body is worn out, they return it to the NWI for repairs and swap out with another. Additionally, each voice retains a similarly monotone air to it; to prevent the hosts from being distinguishable.
