A post-apocalyptic character is shaped by what changed and what they still protect. Record their life before the collapse, practical skills, loyalties, losses, and the line they will not cross. Link the profile to a World so readers can understand the disaster and the rules of survival.
Questions about post-apocalyptic characters
Can I build post-apocalyptic worlds on CharHaven?
Yes. Use the Worlds feature to define your apocalypse: what caused it, how long ago, what factions emerged, and the current state of civilization.
Do I need a specific system for post-apoc RP?
No. CharHaven is system-agnostic. Freeform, dice-based, or paragraph-style — build your character and find partners who match your writing style.
