DMCA Policy

CharHaven respects the intellectual property rights of all creators. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners may submit a takedown notice if they believe their copyrighted work is being used without authorization on our platform.

A valid notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material on CharHaven with enough detail for us to locate it, include contact information for the complaining party, and contain the required good-faith and accuracy statements plus an electronic or physical signature.

Counter-Notice

Repeat Infringer Policy

CharHaven may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material while a DMCA notice is reviewed. Users who repeatedly upload content that is the subject of valid infringement notices may lose upload privileges, marketplace access, or their accounts entirely. We may also preserve relevant logs, notices, and moderation records to investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
