How to use starter kits
What are character starter kits on CharHaven?
Character starter kits are curated template profiles that prefill the core fields of the character creation form so you can begin with a strong concept instead of a blank page.
Do I need an account to browse character templates?
No. The template library is public and indexable. You only need an account when you want to turn a starter kit into a saved character profile.
Can I edit everything after choosing a template?
Yes. Each template is only a starting point. You can rewrite the summary, lore, traits, and tags before saving your character.
